Rising Sun Imports Inc. is a company founded in 1978. In 2008, we celebrated our 30th year in business and more than 35 years in the sport of observed trials. Rising Sun Imports is listed with Dun & Bradstreet and we are in the same location and have the same telephone number since 1987. If you need anything relating to Trials, we probably have it or can find it quickly. We take pride in our renowned good service and parts availability. With almost forty years of TRAILS experience, we know the needs of Trials riders. We frequently travel to Europe in search of new and exciting items for the Trials enthusiast. We import only the highest quality products available today. If you have any questions about any materials or services we provide, please feel free to contact us for more information. As many of today's trials motorcycle manufacturers are sourcing parts from the same suppliers in Europe, please ask about parts for other brands. We have many parts that fit other makes. 2012 is our twenty second model year of distributing the GASGAS TRIALS products in the Americas, we want to thank you for your continued support and welcome those of you who are new to our GASGAS family. Our more than twenty year association with GasGas motos Spain is evidence of our knowledge and commitment to this brand. We founded the AJP AMERICA website for the purpose of offering a one stop internet source of information about hydraulic system components and control related products. AJP is the OEM control system supplier to GASGAS and many other manufacturers. This website offers a photo database and detailed descriptions of the products related to the hydraulic systems on modern Trial motorcycles.

Where is the GasGas factory?
The GASGAS company and factory are located in a modern industrial park in the village of "Salt" (Now a Northeastern suburb of the metropolitan area of Girona) (Spain). Girona is near the Costa Brava on the Mediterranean Sea in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains. Girona is the capitol of the province of Girona, located within the geographical and autonomous region known (since the 10th century) as Catalunya.

The capital city of Catalunya is Barçelona which is known for its artistic and cultural expression. Catalunya encompasses the Southeastern region of Spain extending to the French border and includes approximately 50% of the Pyrenees mountain range which separates the borders of Spain and France. As well as a large portion of the coastal Mediterranean region known as the Costa Brava. Catalunya has an ancient and unique latin-based native language known as Catalan (Catalá). Catalan is the primary (native) language of approximately 37% of the inhabitants of Catalunya, is also spoken in some areas on the French side of the Pyrenees mountains and is also the official language of the Pyrenean mountain country of Andorra. Catalunya is inhabited by about 7.4 million people and has 946 towns and cities, of which 63 have populations of more than 20,000 residents. The Catalan people are known for their fine cuisine and industrial ingenuity. GASGAS Motos S.a. has grown from a company producing a few hundred motorcycles a year in 1985 to become the largest producer of Trial motorcycles in the world.
